OFF THE ROCK CYCLES

A bike that feels right for you.

Practical sizing and setup advice when you choose your bike.

Start with the rider

Your height, riding experience and where you want to ride.

Find your position

Frame choice, saddle height and contact points that work together.

Keep the conversation going

Tell us how the bike feels once you have spent time riding it.

Fit starts with the way you want to ride. Your position on a relaxed everyday bike will feel different from your position on a mountain bike, and the same frame-size label can mean different things between models.

Start with the right frame

Bring your height and inside-leg measurement, and tell us what feels comfortable on your current bike. We can talk through the manufacturer’s sizing, how easily you can get on and off, and your reach to the controls.

Setup at the shop

Our new-bike service includes bike fit and, where relevant, suspension adjustment for your weight and intended riding. Ask us about the setup included with the bike you are choosing.

Wear the shoes you expect to ride in and allow time to discuss saddle height, riding position and controls. If you are unsure about a particular adjustment, ask us before changing it.

Already have a bike?

Contact the shop with the model and the changes you are considering. We can discuss the work and whether an appointment is needed. This is practical shop sizing and setup; ask us directly about any specialist fitting requirement.
